Timeless Rituals for Modern Wellbeing

Maiasa is a sanctuary where tradition and craftsmanship meet modern well-being, offering a place for rituals and community.

Inspired by Japanese culture and tea traditions, our curated collection of premium matcha and home objects elevates your daily rituals and moments of self-care, helping you feel better and balanced in everyday modern life.

a unique Ceremonial Grade

Our single-origin matcha is sourced from the highest-quality tea fields in the dense and mountainous Sōraku District of Japan. These fields, inaccessible to cars and tourism, have preserved the purity and tranquility of their history and traditions. Our unique cultivar grows in only 3% of Japan’s tea cultivation area and is characterized by its vivid green color and rich, smooth flavour. It is naturally sweet without bitterness, with nuanced notes of green pear and mango, and a beautiful umami finish.

Unlike other farms, we harvest only once a year to ensure the optimal health of our fields and plants. Our matcha powder is then meticulously produced using traditional stone-grinding techniques, a rare and time-honored process that sets us apart as one of the few companies preserving this ancient method.

Our dedication to these fields and traditional practices results in a ceremonial grade matcha of unparalleled quality. Each cup becomes a luxurious ritual of reset and sustained energy, embodying the true essence of Japanese tea culture, its history, and incredible health benefits.
