The launch
On a crisp, snowy Saturday at the end of 2023, Maiasa celebrated its launch in the beautiful setting of the Nordic Knots showroom in Stockholm. It was one of the season’s first true winter days, and with a desire to seek warmth and comfort indoors, guests were greeted by the warm space and freshly prepared matcha to recover and restore. The event was thoughtfully arranged around the bar to create a close, intimate atmosphere, with stools for guests to sit and engage in the matcha preparation and learn more about Maiasa.

It was a memorable beginning to our journey. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us that day, cherishing the opportunity to introduce you to the world of Maiasa. For those unable to attend, we eagerly anticipate the chance to welcome you at future gatherings.

After a long and dedicated journey, I am excited to share Maiasa with you. What began for me as a personal pursuit for moments of tranquillity and better health amidst a life of constant travels, has now blossomed into something much more profound and meaningful.

Inspired by many beautiful experiences in Japan and my passion for design and craftsmanship, I set out to create a platform that blends the essence of Japanese tradition with modern well-being. Maiasa offers daily rituals of tea and limited edition design objects that encourage the importance of self-care and mindful consumption in our everyday lives.
